Shelagh Keegan

Synopsis
Theatre designer Shelagh Keegan talks to Christie Carson. Keegan talks about her approach to design (starting with copious notes from the text), her work with David Thacker, the collaborative process, audience expectations of design, dealing with conflict and finding compromise. Keegan feels that the theatre audience is still predominately white, middle class and theatre needs to be more radical.
