Synopsis
Radio version of Shakespeare’s play produced for broadcasting by Peter Watts from the 1953 production by Glen Byam Shaw at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon. With Michael Redgrave and Peggy Ashcroft in the title roles. The music is composed by Antony Hoskins and the Theatre Orchestra is directed by Harold Ingram. Basil Hoskins is Plutarch, the historian/narrator.
