Synopsis
John Drummond introduces Rudolf Nureyev’s production of Romeo and Juliet from the Palazzo dello Sport, Milan. The ballet premiered in London in 1977 and was staged at La Scala, Milan in 1980. Nureyev and Carla Fracci dance the title roles. The ballet is conducted by Michel Sasson.
