In 1967 Riksteatern started a section for producing theatre for children and youth, called Unga Riks ("Young Riksteatern") which has performed plays for children for three decades, performing in schools throughout Sweden at low cost on a regular basis.

History

The premier of this touring production was 2 March 1973.
