This episode focuses on Rik van Uffelen who plays Othello in Johan Simon’s 1993 production of staged by the Toneelgroup, Amsterdam and the Theatre Hollandia. Von Uffelen talks about the role of Othello and the signficance of colour, and the difference in working methods between himself and Pierre Bokma who plays Iago. There is also comment from the designer and director. Shows some scenes from the production.
