Full-length radio version of the play produced by Val Gielgud. With Virginia Maskell, Norman Shelley, Carleton Hobbs and Malcolm Keen. The production uses the full Mendelssohn score as arranged by John Hollingworth, who also conducts the London Sinfonia and the Ambrosia Singers (Soloists: Eileen Poulter and Mary Thomas).
