General: The stage production ran for 12 hours. "Language functions as a thread ... it consists of a mix of Renaissance poetry, pop music and street jargon, everything pressed together in a declamation of street jargon. History: Produced at the Salzburg Festival, Hallein beginning 25 July 1999; and at the Hamburger Schauspielhaus, beginning 2 October 1999. The production was first shown on television in 1999 (transmission date and channel not known). It was shown on the Theaterkanal 30 September 2000 and a copy of this version may be purchased from ZDF Programme Service.
