Synopsis
Fiction film setting Romeo and Juliet as a story of North American tribes where the Hurons and the Mohicans are sworn enemies. Perhaps the first feature film to appropriate a Shakespeare story. The Vitagraph Bulletin (January 17-February 1st) claimed ‘the film is far more Shakespearean than Shakespeare’.
