History
The recording was released on EMI’s ‘Listen for Pleasure’ label (currently deleted) and released on CD by Pearl Records in 2004. The production was also broadcast in America on NBC 27 September 1953 in the ‘Old Vic Theater’ series and this recording is held by the Library of Congress, Recorded Sound Reference Centre.
