Phantom of 42nd Street, The

Synopsis
Feature film. Theatre critic Tony Wooldrich (O’Brien) and his sidekick cab driver Romeo with a penchant for quoting Shakespeare (Mulhall) investigate a backstage murder apparently linked to Shakespearean actor Cecil Moore, his daughter Claudia and Moore’s old repertory company. To solve the crime Tony stages a rehearsal of the assassination scene from Julius Caesar with Cecil as Julius in the expectation that the killer will reveal himself.
