Nini Tirabuscio: La Donna Che Invento la Mossa

Synopsis
Feature film comedy. Set in turn-of-the-century Naples, Nina dreams of becoming a tragedian and instead becomes a cafe singer and starts a popular dance craze based on the can-can. For her audition piece Nina chooses Juliet and performs it before a troupe of strolling players who reject her uninspired interpretation. The manager then offers his own contemporary version of ‘to be or not to be’. Later the players rehearse their version of Hamlet, reducing the plot and introducing many ad libs.
