The inaugural production from the RSC Academy created to develop full training and educational programmes in classical theatre for young people, members of the RSC and the wider world.
History
Press night (Swan Theatre) 23 September 2002. The production then formed part of the RSC’s annual residency in Newcastle before moving on to the Young Vic in London.
User comments
Nonso Anozie played Lear in this production when he was 23 years old. He was the only black actor in the production.
