Titus Andronicus

Synopsis
A video recording, using a single, fixed camera, of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 1987 production of Titus Andronicus directed by Deborah Warner with Brian Cox as Titus. A landmark production, shocking in its unflinching realism, Brian Cox giving a definitive portrayal of Titus degenerating into madness while holding on to cunning. Sonia Ritter as Lavinia and Richard McCabe as Chiron delivered equally memorable and chilling performances.
