Indian Dream

Synopsis
Television drama. What should have been the trip of a lifetime is turned upside down when Surender loses his passport and is arrested at customs as an illegal immigrant. Frightened that he will have to go to a detention centre he flees and ends up in the picturesque village of Sedgton. Once there he finds that the local amateur dramatic society is staging a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and needs a Puck. He pretends to be the local doctor’s cousin, auditions, and gets the part. Surender has to prove he can play the role, keep his identity a secret and woo the prettiest girl in the village.
