Synopsis
Feature film comedy. A group of car owners in the Hebridean village of Laxdale refuse to pay their road fund licences until they have been given a proper road. A parliamentary delegation arrives, and among the entertainments put on for them is an open-air production of Macbeth staged during a storm. The villagers eventually get their road.
