Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre makes several recordings of a single production, using three fixed cameras, to enable practitioners and researchers to observe how the play has developed during the run.

General

The jigs from the first three acts are in the style of ‘passagio’, a form of promenade dance.

History

The production ran October 6-16th 2005. It was a revival of the production, also directed by John Dove, with a mixed-gender cast which formed part of the 2004 Season of Star-Crossed Lovers.
