Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre makes several recordings of a single production, using three fixed cameras, to enable practitioners and researchers to observe how the play has developed during the run.

History

The play ran 8 May-27 September 2003 (press night May 14) in the Season of Regime Change. The play was broadcast live on BBC4 7 September 2003. This transmission may be viewed at the BFI National Archive, London by appointment.
