Synopsis
Schools broadcast. The two-part radio adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Jean Sutcliffe seems to have inaugurated a schools programme entitled ‘English Literature: A Play’. A week later, on the 22 June, a dramatic reading of the play was given in the same BBC ‘For the Schools’ slot.
