Fatal Loins: Romeo and Juliet Reconsidered

Synopsis
Radio play by Perry Pontac written in blank verse. Pontac’s comedy considers what would have happened if Romeo had learnt from Friar Laurence that Juliet wasn’t dead and there was therefore no reason for either of them to kill themselves. The unhappy couple now have too many children, Romeo has taken a mistress and Juliet is putting on weight. The good friar endeavours to bring joy back to their marriage.
