Terrance and Phillip: Behind the Blow

Alternative title
Behind the Blow
Synopsis
Television animated satirical comedy series. The kids from South Park travel to see Philip (who is Canadian) perform Hamlet (V ii) at ‘The Canadian Shakespeare Festival’ (a reference to the Stratford Festival). The scene is performed at high speed in an invented Canadian accent with added colloquialisms. The scene satirises how Canadians perceive Shakespeare in their culture and may also be seen as a comment on how Americans perceive Canadian culture.
