Synopsis
David Daiches, University of Sussex, and L C Knights, University of Cambridge, discuss the play. Hamlet, more than any other play, has produced many and divergent interpretations. The speakers consider the range of disagreement and discuss some fundamental themes. Side 2 comprises readings and rehearsals of Act I sc.ii & Act III sc.i directed by John Russell Brown with Rosalie Crutchley, Alison Fiske, Victor Henry and Wolfe Morris.
