- History
- The matinee performance was recorded. Opening night at the Cottesloe Theatre 6 November 1999. The production later played in the Olivier Theatre. The production was staged for television and broadcast on BBC2 on 31 December 2001 and in the US on PBS 8 October 2001 in the Exxon-Mobil Masterpiece Theatre series. The production was also recorded on 2 March 2000 by the National Video Archive of Performance using two cameras. The television broadcasts and the National Video Archive of Performance recordings are catalogued separately.
