Play synopsis: 'Stella’s divorce has just been finalised. Her daughter is coming over from Paris and Stella is worried about how Dinah will take it. But she accepts it. Stella plans to marry Henry an oil millionaire. On Dinah’s birthday both her father, Roger, and Henry turn up with expensive presents for her. Stella and Roger realise that they are still in love and plan to run away to Gretna Green.
