Play synopsis

A comedy set in a West Country vicarage. The newly married vicar and his wife are discovering how to run a house on a small stipend. Catherine, the vicar’s wife, is determined to remove the discomforts of the damp and dilapidated house whilst her husband is absorbed in a campaign against football pool, which he considers to be one of the sins of modern life.
