Play synopsis

A one-act ‘historical invention’ about Prince Charles Edward Stuart during his later days in Rome. The Prince is in decline ‘with a passion for all bottled fluids and a lady love - the well-remembered Clementina Walkinshaw [...]. With maudlin recollections of the past, and equally unsatisfactory hopes for the future, the Prince was already sodden.'
