Play synopsis

'Six old theatre folk share a shabby flat in Kensington. None has ventured outside for many years since their last stage appearance, a disaster. Hoping to raise funds for an anniversary celebration, they plan to pawn the ailing Lily’s "coffee lace" dress. When she dies suddenly, Lily’s death provides them an unexpected financial windfall.'
