Play synopsis

A small house on the Route Nationale 6 in France is home to Francine and her parents; she and her father Michel believe the road will bring her a handsome young man. During a storm, Robert, a young painter, enters with his father, after their car was run into a ditch. Robert paints Francine and an interlude of love ensues. Is it just a brief dream, or will it develop into something more substantial?
