Summary
Australians in New Guinea routed out Japanese from a dug-out, four of whom dashed into the sea. Three of them were picked off, and the remaining one in the sea is ordered ashore. In a series of still pictures the Japanese soldier is seen in the water with his hands above his head. When he is told to open his hands he drops his hands to his side. "Open them, or else" he is told. He opens his left hand but in the right one is held a grenade. As his hand went back to throw it, it exploded. Last still shows ripples in the water.
