MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The King Inspects His Fleet - 1938. SHOTLIST: The King boards the Nelson, and then the Nelson, flying the Royal Standard, leads the fleet to sea. After witnessing the exercises, the King visits the Aircraft Carrier "Courageous" where he is entertained by a concert. People on shore and small boats watching. The Duke of Kent accompanies the King and Lord Louis Mountbatten is present. Library Shots HMS Courageous, HMS Nelson, HMS Rodney, HMS Aurora, HMS Royal Oak, HMS Ramillies, HMS Revenge, HMS Royal Sovereign, HMS Newcastle, HMS Glasgow, HMS Sheffield, HMS Southampton - includes sailors boarding liberty boat, HMS Cornwall. Special Shot - Destroyer passing quarter-deck of "Nelson" in cuts. Also Royal Yacht "Victoria & Albert".
