Summary

Picturesque ceremony of "marriage" between city of Liverpool and River Mersey, the mainspring of the "City Seasports greatness" - climax of great Civic Week. Thousands of citizens visited the mighty "Rodney" built on the Merseyside, after she had berthed in vast Gladstone Dock, the largest in the world.
