- COI synopsis: In an ideal world, all medical problems would be preventable. As yet, that hasn’t been achieved; but medicine and its associated technology is now offering the less fortunate amongst us a new freedom and independence - a life of their own. Terry Scott severed part of his right leg in a motorcycle accident, but he enjoys a full, active life - thanks to a British medical research team. A new type of artificial limb socket allows him to play football with his children, and hold down a lorry-driving job.
