British Pathe synopsis: "Eve isn’t the only one to do a little spring-cleaning. Even statues have to be attended to in these days of smoke laden City air." M/S of a statue of a woman outside a building with an ornate entrance. "In this new patent process, steel brushes, revolving at high speed, scour off the grime..." C/U of a statue of a lion being cleaned with this special tool. C/U of the lion’s paw being cleaned. C/U of the machinery attached to the cleaning device. C/U of paw being scrubbed. "...and a gentleman with a spray (not a duster) finishes off the rest." C/U of man spraying the lion clean. C/U of the spray gun being used. C/U of the statue - nice and clean!
