Story

Summary
NoS Summary - Camera tricks on a group of acrobats performing in the open air.
British Pathe synopsis: "The Colleano family, Acrobats, have spent half their time in the air since childhood -" Panning shot of the Colleano’s warming up for a routine. They are outdoors in a woodland setting. They do somersaults and backward bends. "All they need is a springboard and they’ll turn and soar through the air for hours without performing the same trick twice." One of the girls stands on a platform, a man stands on the end of a see-saw plank. The girl jumps down and the man is propelled up into the air, he does a somersault and lands on his feet. The other members of the family do similar somersaults. "The Colleano’s landed with many a full and dreary thud whilst practising this triple flip." One of their stunts is seen in slow motion with the film reversed. We then see it again in real time playing forwards. "But, you’d never think it now!" Brother and sister do a back flip with their arms around each other - seen in slow motion. The film is stopped and started a few times, then reversed so that they appear to somersault backwards again. One of the girl jumps down onto the see-saw plank. Film is reversed so that she appears to jump up and down on the plank a few times. "Duets in the air!" More camera trickery of the same kind ensues. C/U of the family with their arms around each other.
