Summary
British Pathe synopsis: "Here’s a little novelty for displaying your photos to the best advantage - and all you need is plain wood and glass." C/U of a woman looking at some photographs. She gets out her scissors and cuts out part of the photograph that shows a woman sitting on the ground looking upwards. "If Eve isn’t handy with a small saw or chisel, get hubby (or one of the boy friends) to help." C/U of woman holding onto a piece of wood and using a small saw to cut the corners off. Woman then uses a chisel to make a groove in the wood. "And when you stick the cut-out photo between the glass, you’ve a really smart novelty for selected photos." The photograph is placed between the two pieces of glass then inserted into the groove. Putty is then applied to secure the glass and the wood is painted or varnished. C/U of two of the framed photographs.
