Summary
British Pathe synopsis: "Be an optimist - get ready for summer (if any) and start a "sunshine club" - as they’re doing in southern France now." Various shots of a group of children on a beach playing "catch" games with a large ball. A man throws the ball for them to catch. We then see some older club members throwing javelins on the beach. Another woman throws a discus. "Keeping fit and slim, even if some of the exercises aren’t quite in time." The adults and children exercise in front of the waves, bending and stretching. "And when the day ends - " A group of young people carry a boat to the edge of the water and push it out to sea. A man takes the oars and rows his female companion out into the waves.
