Summary
Pathe Summary - Interesting glimpses of the manufacture of an Easter Egg - from the coca beans to the finished article.
NoS synopsis: "Eggsclusively eggs - starting with this machine - and cocoa beans." M/S of a woman working at a machine which sorts or cleans cocoa beans. "Sugar and spice," to make it nice." M/S of a woman pouring powder into a machine. M/S of a chocolate paste emerging from a mixing machine. "While chocolate moulders are busy forming the eggs, others make the inside chocolates." High angle shot of 10 women working at a bench making chocolates. "Art steps in - (pretty decorations will extract a lot more from Father’s pocket)." C/U of man piping a design onto a large chocolate Easter egg. We watch the design taking shape. Finished egg is shown to the camera. C/U of a woman filling the egg with sweets wrapped in cellophane.
