Summary
NoS Summary - Young children play various instruments in a school playground.
British Pathe synopsis: Main title reads: "With the kind and gentle co-operation of the Musicians of this Theatre, Eve presents the babies’ band!" then following intertitle: "Behold! A band - a real one - small but choice. (It’s the band that amused the Queen at the Mary Ward Settlement, London.) " C/U of a small child (3 or 4 years old) conducting a band with a baton. C/U of a child’s hand on piano keys. It is a toy piano and the child bashes away at the keys. Dissolve into a child playing a drum. L/S of the band - group of roughly 15 children sit on blankets playing instruments whilst the conductress stands on a chair in front of them. C/U of some of the toddlers who play little hand bells. Another group of children play tambourines. L/S of the band playing frantically. C/U of one of the children pushing a small pram. Another one of the children holds a large teddy bear. The bear is put in a pram and then pushed along. L/S of the children running around in the playground.
