Summary
NoS synopsis: Dancers are superimposed over the main title for an unusual effect. "The Tango isn’t always dreamy and slow - Hooker and Seaward showed us a fast version -". A fast Tango is danced by Hooker and Seaward as the chorus line stands behind them. "Just imagine dancing if dress slips back about a century, girls, and they revert to this -". There follows a period piece where the players are dressed in crinolines and dance a genteel parlour dance. "The "Mayne" part about the next item was Clarice -!" Then a line of chorus girls do a high kicks routine with Clarice Mayne. "And G. S. Melvin told us the girls in the next dance made 434 steps and kicks. (If you don’t believe us count them for yourselves!)" A Conga style dance that follows. As well as the normal shot from the auditorium, there is also a side shot of the high kicks from the wings.
