Summary
Summary - a dance by Edna Maude (with slow motion scenes).
NoS synopsis: ‘A Charming Little Dance by Edna Maude "The Spirit of the Dance"_' intertitle with a cartoon of a dancer in the background. Maude dances in a grecian costume in a set like a stately hallway. She dances on point in ballet shoes. ‘We now show you excerpts from the dance photographed 15 times slower (by our special camera), which clearly conveys to you the beautiful motion and gracefulness of this dancer.' ‘A wonderful picture of a leap in the air.' Same set, but the furniture has been removed. Maude leaps in slow motion. ‘This is surely the poetry of motion - observe the action of the draperies and hair.' Slow motion footage of turns.
