- Summary - May Moore Duprez’s baby daughter (Virginia) following in the footsteps of her mother
NoS synopsis: '"The Jolly Dutch Girl" - Little Miss May Moore Duprez, age three, who is already under contract to appear on the stage with her mother.' intertitled with a cartoon of a girl in Dutch national costume on the left. ‘A lesson from mother.' Mrs Moore, dressed in Dutch national costume, dances whilst her seated daughter looks on, with a large teddy bear sat beside her. They are in a garden. The child applauds as her mother turns and dances towards her. ‘Following in mother’s footsteps.' The two, dressed in clogs and matching Dutch costume, stand in front of bushes. The mother kicks her pointed toes and the child copies. They curtsey to each other and bow to the camera. Close up of the mother holding her child and smiling. The girl smiles and cuddles her mother, who makes a face at the camera. - Researcher Comments
