Summary
COI synopsis: New Zealander, Barbara Ewing visits the Savoy Hotel for 100th birthday celebrations of The Stage newspaper, the trade journal for Britain’s entertainment industry. Among the one thousand guests, she meets one of the theatre’s longest-established stars, Sir Ralph Richardson and one of the newest, Elaine Paige, leading lady of the musical ‘Evita’.
