Summary
COI synopsis: Treasure hunting as a hobby using metal detectors has become tremendously popular in Britain. Vicki Luke joins a group of enthusiasts and discovers that it is the anticipation when the detector starts to buzz that is often more exciting than the actual "find". Apart from treasure hunting, Vicki investigates other more serious uses for metal detectors. We see a mountain rescue team searching with a high-powered detector for a lost climber in the snow and join a police diving team using an underwater metal detector to locate a gun thrown into a lake after an armed robbery.
