- Summary
- COI synopsis: For the farmer, the presence of wild oats in the seed that he purchases from the manufacturer is a hazard. They can choke his fields and severely reduce his crop. But now the distinguishing mark of wild oats, a tufted beard, is their downfall. Seeds are checked by droppig them onto a new fabric which allows ordinary oats to dance down while catching the wild ones by their beards.
