Summary
COI synopsis: It isn’t always a case of the bigger the better; sometimes it’s an advantage to be small. In this issue we look at the benefits of being smaller rather than larger, of using less instead of more. How do you cut a pin in four along its length? Or how do you cut a silicon wafer into hundreds of integrated circuit chips? Both tasks require a remarkable tool - like the world’s finest saw.
