Summary
COI synopsis: Sandy beaches cure bedsores. A hospital bed has a "mattress" of sand, and a supply of air under pressure to fluidise it, moulding it to the shape of the body - just as a sandy seashore "gives" to the shape of reclining sun worshippers.
