Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen of Denmark Visits Ireland. DESCRIPTION: Her Majesty Queen Margrethe of Denmark and Prince Henrik arrived in Dublin at the start of their State visit to be greeted by the President and Mrs Hillery. The Queen and Prince each planted a tree in the garden at Phoenix Park, the President’s Residence, to commemorate the visit. At the Garden of Remembrance in Parnell Square Her Majesty laid a wreath to the dead of the Two World Wars. Prince Henrik visited the Army School of Equitation and Queen Margrethe the beautiful grounds of Powerscourt in Enniskerry. SHOTLIST: MS Aer Lingus plane taxiing.
