MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: India Bound Tyros Get Sea Baptism. DESCRIPTION: Father Neptune presides at christening ceremony when SS "Maloja" crosses equator. SHOTLIST: Close side shot of native coming down gangway of ship, with hatchets and other primitive weapons. Close shot of dance by natives. (Primitive dance). Close shot of white man?? Policeman dragging man about. This appears to be a sort of "Crossing the Line" ceremony. They are being thrown into the sea. The whole story is rather hazy.
