MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Forestry Machinery Exhibition. DESCRIPTION: A demonstration of the latest machinery used in Forestry, trees can be cut down and removed at considerable speed with this equipment. SHOTLIST: MS elephant’s face. MS tree tops. Tilt down to man with power saw going through tree trunk. MCU man falling. Pan to base of tree. It hits ground at 259’. MS elephant being taken towards tree. MS men sawing off small branches. MS tree trunk moving. Pan to see elephant pulling it. MS man operating winch. MCU chain round tree trunk lifting it. MS trunk being lifted and dragged past camera. MS tree cutting machine moving towards tree and clamping itself round it. MCU clamps round tree. Tree being cut. MS machine moves back with tree and turns. Pan up tree. MS tree cutter with tree going away from camera and putting tree down. MCU forest waste going into shredder. Pan to where waste comes out. MCU branch being put into shredder, pan along. MCU waste being put in. MS shredder waste coming out. MS machine for cutting planks off of tree trunks. MS man operating controls. MCU blade cutting.
