Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Women’s Tennis Final. DESCRIPTION: Mrs Billie Jean King, veteran of the Centre Court, takes her sixth Singles Title. Her opponent Mrs Evonne Cawley, (née Goolagong) just could not put her game together and Mrs King was the victor, 6 - 0, 6 - 1In the Mens Final, reigning champion, Jimmy Connors, took on fellow American Arthur Ashe. Contrary to expectations Connors won only one set and it was Ashe who received the trophy from the Duke of Kent. SHOTLIST: GV Wimbledon main entrance. SV man buying programme.
