DESCRIPTION: To commemorate the historic evacuation of troops from the beaches of Dunkirk in 1940, some of the Little Ships make a return journeyCalled upon by the Admiralty, thirty-five years ago these little pleasure boats helped to rescue 338,000 beleaguered troopsTo mark the anniversary planes of the RAF Historic Section flew over the Little Ships assembled at Dunkirk and a Wessex Helicopter dropped a wreath into the sea.
